Anglican Rosary with Episcopal Service Cross

This is the Episcopal Church Service Cross.  It is a five-fold cross symbolic of the five wounds of our Lord at His Crucifixion.  The words, embossed upon it, “Christ Died for You,” are adapted from 2 Corinthians 5:15.

The Service Cross was originally designed under  the direction of Edith Weir Perry, wife of Bishop James de Wolf Perry, who was the Presiding Bishop of the Church from 1930 to 1937.  The Cross was first issued during World War I.
