Anglican Rosary, Jerusalem Cross |
|
This cross represents Christ's command to spread the Gospel around the world, a mission that started in Jerusalem. It was part of the coat of arms of the short-lived Jerusalem Kingdom (1099-1203 AD). It is a busy collection of five crosses. The smaller crosses may represent the 4 Gospels, or the four corners of the world with Christ in the Center. The Bronze Medal that I am using has the following scripture on the reverse side, “ I have called you by name, you are Mine.” Is 43:1 |
